Benton & Johnson Couching Thread 340 Gilt

Benton & Johnson Couching Thread 340 is a synthetic thread wrapped around a cotton core. It looks like a real metal thread but does not tarnish. This thread is very fine and can be used to couch down other metal threads such as Passing Thread, Rococco and Check Thread. Couching Thread 340 can also be used for fine Goldwork or as a highlight in place of standard metallic threads.
