This handy book from Alison Cole is full of tips from over 30 years of experience, where Alison has written down advice on everything from setting up your workbasket through to framing and photographing your completed work. Being a specialist tutor of Goldwork and Stumpwork embroidery, Alison has included chapters dedicated to hints specific to these techniques as well as general embroidery hints. At the suggestion of some of Alison's students, it has some blank pages throughout so that you can add the tips that you pick up along the way and at the back are needle identification pages with actual size photos of needles for comparison.
