Benton & Johnson Imitation Japanese Gold Thread K1, K2, K3, K4

Benton & Johnson Imitation Japanese thread is made up of a metal foil wrapped around a thread core. The foil wrapped around the core of this range is very sturdy and is less likely to untwist as you are working. Japanese threads are usually couched down two threads at a time with the same colour sewing thread or a contrasting colour in a bricking fashion. In this range the colours are the brightest gold with the glossiest reflective surface. The Japanese threads are synthetic and will not tarnish.

Imitation Japanese Threads in this range are available from No. 8 (K4)  which is the smallest to No. 13 (K1) which is the largest. 

• No. 8 (K4): Approximately 0.5mm across the width of the thread.
• No. 9 (K3): Approximately 0.70mm across the width of the thread.
• No. 12 (K2): Approximately 0.85mm accross the width of the thread.
• No. 13 (K1): Approximately 1.0mm accross the width of the thread.

Priced by the metre.   Multiple metres of the same thread will be one continuous piece.
