Benton & Johnson Couching Thread 390 Gilt

Benton & Johnson Couching Thread 390 is a synthetic thread wrapped around a cotton core. The thread is straight and smooth in appearance and turns corners easily when using fine tipped tweezers. This thread is thicker than the standard 371 couching thread but can still be used in the same way for plaited braid stitch, filling areas in couching and for Or Nue and although it looks like real metal thread, it will not tarnish.

Priced per 5 metre lengths. Multiple metres of the same thread will be one continuous piece.
