This design is based on the traditional ‘Tree of Life’ structure and is a medley of foliage and flowers using traditional ‘Jacobean’ stitches.

Stitches: Crewel Stem Stitch, Laid and Couched Work, Long and Short as ‘soft shading’, Raised Satin, Satin Stitch, Closed Fly, French Knots and Seeding.
